Welcome to Relate Me, an adults-only social app designed to help you connect with people around you through real-time, map-based interactions. Your privacy matters to us, and we are committed to handling your information responsibly, transparently, and securely.
Relate Me is strictly for adults aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors and do not permit minors to use the Service. If we learn that a minor has created an account, it will be deleted immediately.
Relate Me does not share your live location by default. Users must manually opt in by tapping “Go Visible” inside the app. While visible, your device shares your approximate live location with other visible users through secure, real-time communication.
Your live location is immediately removed when you close the app or turn visibility off. A temporary ghost marker representing your last position may remain visible for up to 120 minutes , after which it is permanently deleted .
Relate Me does not collect background location data, track your device when inactive, or store location history logs.
Live location data is used only while you are actively visible in the app and is automatically discarded when your session ends. We do not permanently store, archive, or build profiles from your location history.
We collect limited technical data to keep the app functioning smoothly:
Relate Me uses Google AdMob to display ads. With your permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, device identifiers (such as IDFA) and ad interaction data are used for tracking purposes to deliver personalized advertising and measure campaign performance across third-party apps and websites. If permission is denied, tracking is disabled and only contextual ads are displayed.
Relate Me may request access to your device’s address book solely to allow you to manually select contacts to invite to the app.
Contacts are processed entirely on-device. We do not upload, store, sync, retain, or transmit your address book or contact data to our servers.
Only the contact information you explicitly choose to use for an invitation is accessed, and no automatic or background contact access occurs.
Location data: Deleted immediately upon ending visibility.
Profile data: Stored as long as your account remains active.
Crash logs / analytics: Retained only as necessary for performance and debugging.
You can delete your account at any time from within the Relate Me app. Once deleted, your profile and associated data are permanently removed from our systems, except where limited retention is required by law (e.g., fraud or safety reports).
Relate Me is restricted to adults aged 18 and older. Minors are intentionally excluded to mitigate legal, safety, and privacy risks associated with location-based social interactions. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18, and any such accounts will be removed if identified.
